In western culture, agreements are reduced to writing. Written documentation of contractual agreements is the western way of holding parties to important agreements to their word. Because this practice is so prevalent in all aspects of life in America, the theory and practice lays a paper trail for everything that happens. This paper trail, even though the documents are often classified and buried out of the reach of their owners, the American people, the litany of paperwork that is generated by the mammoth government that presides over the American people is accessible given a concerted effort. Most organizations keep minutes of their meetings as well as memorandums penned by their leadership. Organizational budgets and personnel staffing charts are also helpful in understanding the nature, intentions and effectiveness of the people and organizations that create, implement and are often the beneficiaries of public policy decisions. State and federal constitutions and statutes are relevant source documents of interest to GHM. Political Action Committees, the people who manage them and the donors who contribute to them are also of interest to GHM. Reliable news sources, sources that substantiate their reporting with source documents, are occasionally utilized as factual sources of information. GHM is interested in harvesting the above-mentioned categories of source documents for the purpose of gleaning a better understanding of the political influencers engaged in shaping public policy. These source documents reveal the societal, economic and political intent of the individuals and organizations that create, publish and support them. These organizations typically publish their legislative priorities also; for in house distribution, minimally. It is important to know what political influencers are doing so citizens can support or oppose the actions of these influencers. Other investigative journalism strategies and tactics are applied as information gathering techniques.
Public Records
If there is a silver lining to objectionable big government, it is the robust public records origination machine and information gathering apparatus that it is. This enormous body of public records, relatively easily accessible to the public, often provides the basis for determining the credibility of a given thesis. Information is power. That’s why the government collects so much data.
The law requires government agencies and elected officials to preserve the official communications that are associated with the performance of their responsibilities in public office. This includes text messages on public devices and email records on public email accounts. Every voice message, text message, and every email correspondence between a constituent or colleague and a public figure that goes across a publicly owned device is a matter of public record, eternally. It takes an intentional and concerted effort to perform acts of waste, fraud, abuse and corruption in a vacuum these days. One effect of technological record retention, whether public or private, is that people are a lot more careful about the things they say and do. When comments and activities are captured, they can be transmitted to millions of people in an instant. Due to the public nature of private conversations, electronically captured conversations whether public or private, these conversations are now a reliable source of information. People are less likely to say incriminating things that can easily be distributed across electronic media by parties who benefit from discrediting the subject individual. Everyone, both friend and foe, must understand this as a matter of self-preservation. GHM uses electronically acquired information as a source of evidence to prove or disprove a given thesis. All of these sources of information fall into the realm of public records. Said another way, these are records that are public or can become public. GHM is fighting for limited government, freedom, liberty, and (yes) privacy. GHM is not in the business of maliciously disparaging people without cause or without provocation. Globalists and Marxists, whether self-proclaimed or not, are moving against Americans’ freedom, liberty and other constitutional rights. This global war is a high stakes game. Victory is essential for the recreation of freedom in the world. The conflict is brutal. There are, and will continue to be, costs associated with fighting this war for freedom and liberty.
Personal Interviews
Personal interviews are another great source of discovery for GHM staff. By making appointments with various personalities or through impromptu meetings, GHM gets opportunities to listen to subject-matter experts and often receive firsthand information that has not been previously released. Communication is a two-way street. It is good to look someone in the eyes, because the eyes are, indeed, the window to the soul. It is good to listen to people, truly listen to people, in their own words and on their own terms to get to the heart of an important matter. Furthermore, it doesn’t always work out, but, that’s what GHM is looking for; soulful content that often changes the interviewee’s perspective on their own issue. Sometimes, self-reflection is the best and most influential motivator.
There is a lot going on in the world. Activists with diverse backgrounds and interests (yes, special interests) are advocating for and against huge numbers of issues, at the local, state, national and international level. Each issue, or point of view, is typically represented by multiple organizations and each organization has a leadership team and a spokesperson. Institutional knowledge drips off each of these leaders. Some of the guests you will agree with and will be compassionate for and others you will disagree with, and you will have nothing in common with. To GHM, it is important that the information gleaned from personal interviews is relevant, and the video component provides deeper insight into the characters being interviewed and their causes. Many of these organizational leaders are very insightful people, and no one can make the case for their cause like they can. Candidates for live interviews must be vetted before they are interviewed. The subject to be discussed is typically reviewed before going on camera so that there are few surprises and the guest is not blindsided by a topic they are completely unprepared for. That doesn’t mean that the interview will be a softball interview. It simply means that the guest will know in advance how they choose to respond to a difficult or uncomfortable topic. By preparing the guest for the topics to be discussed, the messaging the audience receives is more likely to stand up over time. The guest is not likely to say one thing on the GHM set and then turn around a say something completely different in another interview by a different media organization on a different day. Personal interviews capture the guest’s personality, gives the audience an opportunity to read the guest’s non-verbal communications and assess their demeanor. Personal interviews can be a valuable method for capturing the substance of an issue and assessing the credibility of the spokesperson, and by extension, the spokesperson’s organization. GHM enjoys having special guests in studio for one on one interviews and small panel discussions. These sessions are usually prerecorded but, from time to time, live-streaming will be the delivery method of choice. Communicate
GHM will communicate its findings via written editorials, web site postings, social media, video recordings, live stream events, in person events, hybrid events, email distributions and text message invitations that offer American citizens, and pro-American supporters around the world, an opportunity to stay informed and become proactive towards restoring America to her foundational greatness for American posterity. GHM will persuade those, who obstruct the restoration of constitutional integrity, to embrace the Judeo-Christian values on which the greatest society in human history is founded. The written word is powerful. What is written, comes to pass. This powerful concept is the basis for GHM’s joy of writing long form editorials and eventually books. Long form editorials are reflective and thought provoking. They allow the author to research and study the content he or she is reporting on and cross reference exploratory findings against other sources of information for validation of the hypothesis. The written word is the historical basis for scripts of all types and serve as the foundation for most alternative forms of concept development. Movies are filmed based on the written script. For these reasons, GHM will post written editorials on its web site and will chronicle written editorials in other storage facilities to assure permanent record retention.
Web Site Posts
The internet transformed the world. So much has been built upon it that the expanse of subject matter is too vast to address, anywhere! Everything associated with the internet is related to communications, whether it is as “back office” as data storage, as mechanical as connecting devices to each other or it is as publicly dominant as live streaming video journalism emanating from all corners of the globe. World infrastructure and even the military forces of the world depend on the internet for functionality. The world’s communication platforms are connecting populations and are empowering people to actualize their own personal destinies. From GHM’s perspective, a proprietary web site is, actually, more important than a brick and mortar store front. www.GlassHouse.blog (the web site) is GHM’s home base and is the place to go when you must be up to date on all things GHM. Ideally, all GHM posts will be disseminated to all social media platforms and destination web sites via a single entry web post. The GHM web site is the launching pad for all GHM concepts, communications and programs. The web site is also a business portal where products and services can be sold and like-minded parties can monetize their support. Word travels fast across the internet and from state house to state house. GHM is a public policy platform that informs Americans across the country (and the citizens of the world) concerning federal, state and local issues that historically are duplicated from the point of origin into other jurisdictions that share the original jurisdiction’s mindset. The world now gathers together on social media platforms and there are more platforms launching every year. As the world bifurcates ideologically, like-minded people band together under their social media banner of choice. Sometimes, it is surprising to see who subscribes to which social media sites! Grandma and Grandpa are better connected than they might receive credit for. This is why social media is so important for influencers such as GHM. Social media platforms are the runway on which global communication advances.
