Confront
Activists who are continuously involved in the political process and frequent events where politicians are present have experienced some remarkable interactions with elected officials who, in no uncertain terms, inform the activist that the activist’s opinions and perspective associated with public policy matters are aggravating and unwelcome to the politician. No one agrees with anyone all the time. But, that’s not what the politician is saying. The politician is telling the activist that the activist’s concerns and opinions are never welcome and are never of interest to the politician. That’s what is happening in Florida.
When politicians refuse to listen, weigh and consider well documented concerns and opinions of their constituents, the politician is neglecting his/her duty confirmed upon the politician by their oath of office. While it is uncomfortable for most well-mannered Americans, political confrontation is sometimes necessary to get a politician’s attention. Remember, things once heard cannot be unheard and things once seen cannot be unseen. In those uncomfortable moments when a politician must be confronted, the politician is indelibly exposed to the concern or opinion the activist delivered in the confrontational moment. Just like negative campaigning, it is sad, but it works. Confrontation has become the unpleasant normal in American politics.
Confrontation should be achieved in a more civil setting. No one should ever feel ambushed. Politicians should take the time to listen to their constituents and respond with rationale as to why the politician disagrees with or refuses to perform the service that the constituent is requesting. It is also true that there are some topics that certain politicians do not want to discuss. Sometimes the answer is simply, “I am unwilling to discuss this with you”. Bad news is bad news. When citizens are compelled to get public policy addressed, confrontation may be necessary. This is certainly true for journalists.

Present Evidence
The best case scenario is that elected officials are interested and willing to consider the concerns and opinions of their constituents. Concerned citizens must document their concerns, so the politician has reference material to return to when the politician can thoughtfully review the citizen’s arguments and reconcile the concepts presented. This is referred to as, “Bringing the Receipts”. Bringing the receipts is critical and imperative to prevailing in a political endeavor. As noted in another blog post on this platform, “What is written down comes to pass”. The power of the thoughtfully presented written word cannot be overstated. Exhibits, such as public records, email correspondence, text messages and witness, whistle-blower testimony are examples of evidence documentation. GHM always works hard to bring the receipts when presenting a newsworthy story or report.
Apply Logic
Connect the dots. A wise man once said, “If it walks like a duck, and it quacks like a duck, it is a duck”. There is wisdom in this parable. GHM applies common sense logic to the interview process. Listening skills are critical to investigative journalism. Subjects often, unwittingly, provide information that the interviewer would have neglected to explore. Open-ended questions solicit long form responses, which advance the conversation in a way that “peels back the onion” and triggers new open-ended questions. This is the process of information gathering that eventually reveals the truth, which is the heart of the story. GHM, patiently and methodically, “peels back the onion” and eventually reveals the truth. Open-ended questions provide the opportunity to gather information, creating evidentiary dots. The logician’s task is to connect the dots and reveal the most probable outcome also known as “The Truth”. The process does not always, immediately, reveal truth but, when the interviewer gets that deep peaceful feeling, there is a strong possibility that the truth is at hand. From GHM’s journalistic perspective, accusations can’t be levied against suspects without hard, tangible proof (unless the accusation is a negotiating tactic). Gathering relevant information typically gives a researcher a glimpse into the most probable reality. Connecting evidentiary dots eventually leads to the discovery of the truth. GHM researches local, state, and national events that concerned citizens want to know about. Applying logic is an important part of the process.

Draw Conclusions
A conclusion is a strongly held opinion. Everyone has an opinion. Some opinions are supported by more qualifying information than others. The question is, “Are you ready to defend your opinion in the presence of the subject of the investigation? Are you ready to levy accusations in the presence of the accused”? When you are, you have come to a preliminary conclusion. So often, absent the presence of the subject of the conversation, people are bold about making accusations and derogatory remarks against other people. The interaction would be much different if the subject of the remarks or accusations stood before the accuser. Social media offers countless examples of people ranting against other people behind their backs. This is a dangerous activity. GHM will not make accusations or derogatory remarks without delivering the information presented to the subject of the investigation. Civility and formality is important in every aspect of life, both personally and corporately. The conclusion is the last phase of the investigative process. GHM carefully considers all information gathered, then weighs and considers the validity and significance of the information at hand. Allegations levied against individuals and organizations are often severely detrimental to the accused. These remarks should be made only when the societal benefit far outweighs the damage and destruction imposed by the derogatory statement. Communications wars can be devastating to the lives of everyone involved. Proceed with caution.
Litigation
Organize
Lawfare has become the weapon of choice in America’s political arsenal in recent years. The United States governing documents are being ignored by lawmakers, administrators and judges. This lawfare puts the republic at risk. The rule of law is essential to maintaining a safe, peaceful and prosperous nation. GHM performs the data collection processes in order to create the reports and stories published on this website and on other platforms in order to raise awareness of the lawlessness that is perpetuated by our civic leaders. When American leadership turns a blind eye to the law, expect chaos on American streets. Leadership is a critical commodity in every organization and in every legitimate government. GHM seeks out source documents and assembles these documents in order to establish a chronology that reveals the events that constitute violations of local, state and federal law.

File
When local, state and federal laws are violated, particularly by government officials and agencies, it is imperative that those individuals and organizations are held to the highest standard established by law. This means that government officials must be prosecuted in the same manner private citizens are prosecuted, except that the punishment must be more severe. Government officials and agencies create the laws, enforce the laws, apply the administrative codes that they create and ultimately adjudicate the laws, profoundly affecting the lives of all citizens living under their jurisdictions. The responsibility is immense. Everyone who accepts this responsibility must take their obligations seriously. Governmental leadership positions are more impactful than private sector jobs. The best example of the difference between public offices and private sector industry is that public offices are taxing authorities. Taxing authorities are empowered to take your money. Private sector companies are prohibiting from taking your money without your consent. GHM believes that Florida lawmakers and administrators fail to recognize their responsibilities as taxing authorities and unduly, maliciously, conspire with special interests and other government agencies to flippantly seize the incomes and assets of innocent citizens as government’s resource for walking out their poorly crafted, overpriced agendas. When lawmakers, enforcement agencies, regulators and judges knowingly abuse their power and privilege the penalty must be severe. These individuals know what they are doing and refuse to live under the laws they write, enforce and interpret. Abuses of power are the equivalent of malignancy in local state and national government. Law suits must be filed and charges brought against perpetrators when appropriate.
Execute
There are few activities more nauseating and distasteful than living through a civil lawsuit or criminal investigation. Lawsuits and criminal prosecutions are the abundantly onerous price for civil disobedience and unrest. Since 2015, when Donald Trump came down the Trump Tower escalator to announce his candidacy for President of the United States, lawfare and the criminal weaponization of government has run amuck. The sinister and treacherous activities of government employees and agencies is beyond the comprehension of most Americans. The illegal, unethical and immoral behavior of the individuals and agencies who are taking part in the gang style execution of President Donald Trump, and others, must be held fully accountable. The list of offenses is long. Prosecuting these cases will take many years and will poison the civility and culture of America for as long as it takes to work through the caseload and for the American people to recover. Hopefully, historians will memorialize these dark times to remind future generations of the cost of immorality. January 20, 2025 cannot come soon enough. President Donald Trump must be protected against assassination and inaugurated into the office of the Forty-Seventh President of the United States. On that day the cleanup of corrupt government institutions will begin. On that day America will begin the processes necessary to Make America Great Again, Make America Healthy Again, Make America Safe Again and Make America Righteous Again. The time for execution is now.

Conclusion
It is difficult to live in a world where people knowingly and intentionally create economic systems that suppress humans who could easily and naturally rise out of economic distress if civic leadership would acknowledge them, mentor them and encourage them. One reveal from Biblical study is that humans often regress when great wealth is achieved. It never seems to be enough. GHM is dedicated to doing everything possible to deliver a fiscally and spiritually healthy America to our children. The cost has been astronomical. The damage runs deep. Love, kindness, patience, virtue and justice are the resources needed to restore this economic experiment to its rightful role; the creation of a bountiful haven for life, liberty, freedom and prosperity. Love your father. Love your mother. Love your husband, and your wife. Love your sister and your brother. These are the ones who love you. Love Your Neighbor as You Love Yourself. In G-d We Trust, eternally.
